ENTRY FEES & REGISTRATION-
Entry Fees
- Early Entry: $500 (must be paid in full by August 28, 2026)
- Late Entry: $575 (after August 28, 2026)
Deposit Requirement
A minimum deposit of $200 is required to reserve your team's spot.
Refund Policy
All deposits and entry fees become non-refundable after August 30, 2026.
ONLINE BONUS EVENT-
A four-day Online Bonus Event will be held prior to the tournament.
Event Schedule
- Starts: Monday, August 31, 2026, at 12:00 PM
- Ends: Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 8:00 PM
Eligibility
To participate, your team's entry fee must be paid in full by Friday, August 28, 2026
Once available, the Online Bonus will be posted on www.dctxpool.com
Important Information
- All participants are responsible for reviewing and understanding those rules before participating.
- The Online Bonus must be paid in cash on the morning of September 4, 2026, unless prior approval has been granted.
LIVE BONUS EVENT-
An additional Live In-Person Bonus Event will be offered on Friday September 4th at 12pm. If you want to participate, you must be present in person.
SIDE POT OPTIONS-
Side Pots must be paid in cash on September 4th by 12pm, unless otherwise approved.

- Number of paid places will be determined by the total number of participating teams.
DIAMOND DIVISION TEAM CRITERIA-
Fargo Team Cap
The Diamond Division is capped at 2300 Fargo.
Team Composition
- Teams consist of four (4) Core Players.
- The combined Fargo Rating of the four Core Players must be 2300 or less at the time of registration.
- Teams may not register above the cap.
Registration Fargo Lock
The Fargo Ratings used at registration establish the team's minimum Fargo total.
Fargo Cushion
Following registration, each team will receive a 20-point combined Fargo cushion.
Substitutions
- Each team may roster one (1) substitute.
- The substitute must be the lowest Fargo-rated player on the roster.
- The highest four Fargo-rated players on the roster will be designated as the Core Players.
- Subs can play in any round (including Round 1) but must be announced prior to the start of that round and they must play the entire round.
League Requirements
There are no league participation requirements for entry.
Players Without Fargo Ratings
Players without an established Fargo Rating may be assigned a rating by tournament management based on known playing ability and available performance data.
Fargo Robustness & Player Review
- Minimum Fargo robustness requirement: 350
- All players are subject to review and possible identification verification.
- Players under review may be required to make their Fargo match history public.
- Tournament management reserves the right to verify or adjust player ratings when necessary to preserve the integrity of the event.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT & RULES-
- BCAPL Rules
- 8-Ball
- Double Elimination
Match Format
All matches are:
- Race to 12 on the Winner's Side
- Race to 12 on the One-Loss Side
Round Composition
One round consists of four (4) singles matches and two (2) Scotch Doubles matches (six games total), as reflected on the official scoresheet. Games 1–6 make up Round 1, games 7–12 make up Round 2, and so on for each subsequent round.
Home & Away Determination
Teams may determine Home and Away designation by either:
- Coin Flip
- Lag
If teams cannot agree on a method, a lag will be used.
Hill-Hill Matches
Any Hill-Hill match will be decided by a single game of Scotch Quadruples.
During a Scotch Quadruples Hill-Hill game, open communication is not permitted. A team may only communicate if it calls a team timeout, and only if the team still has one available.
Fargo Reporting
All singles matches will be submitted to FargoRate.
Additional Tournament Rules
Bad Boys Tournament Guidelines will be in effect throughout the event.
TIMEOUTS & COACHING-
Team Timeouts
Each team is allowed three (3) timeouts per match.
Doubles Matches
During a timeout in doubles play, the team's coach may approach the table and provide guidance.
Scotch Doubles Communication
When a timeout is not in progress, open communication between partners is permitted during Scotch Doubles play. Only the shooter may be at the table — the non-shooting partner must remain in the chair, and all open communication must come from the chair.

- An official scoresheet will be attached to these guidelines once finalized.
- Tournament management reserves the right to modify or update these guidelines as necessary.
- Any changes will be communicated prior to the start of the event.
